Scotland - Central Scotland
Gleneagles
Wow. There are few words that fully describe Gleneagles, but "wow" definitely gets the point across. The Gleneagles Hotel is one of the world's finest golf resorts with three outstanding golf courses. The King's and Queen's courses have been considered two of Scotland's finest inland courses since their inception in the early 1920's. Both courses were designed by the great James Braid, provide exhilarating scenery, and require exacting shots to well protected greens.
The third course at Gleneagles, The PGA Centenary Course, was recently selected to host the 2014 Ryder Cup. The Jack Nicklaus design was built in the early 1990's and from the tips is currently the longest inland course in Scotland at over 7000 yards. Choose the set of tees that are right for you and you'll fully enjoy this outstanding course. Perhaps best of all are the views. It seems that every hole offers something new including views of the Perthshire straths, the Grampian Mountains, Ben Vorlich, and the Trossachs. Wow!
Kings - Par 70, 6790 yards
Queens - Par 68, 5965 yards
PGA Centenary - Par 72, 7088 yards
