Accommodations
Ireland - West & Northwest
We divide our hotels into three basic categories, Country Homes, First-Class Hotels, and Deluxe Hotels. Below is a brief description of each type of accommodation.
Country Homes - Our most requested style of accommodation. Country homes and manors are small hotels offering fine accommodations and good values. A great way to meet the locals!
First-Class Hotels - Generally three and four-star hotels that offer more spacious accommodations and more facilities than the country homes. Most of our first-class hotels also command great locations close to or overlooking some of the world's best golf courses!
Deluxe Hotels - Elegant hotels for the discerning traveler. If you are looking for the very best the area has to offer, these hotels are for you.

But, your trip is all about golf and Rosapenna will not disappoint with two excellent tracks. The original links dates back to Old Tom Morris' visit in 1891, when he first staked out the course. Although additions and changes were made later by Harry Vardon and James Braid, the layout remains as natural as it was in Old Tom's day. A second course called Sandy Hill Links, by Pat Ruddy, opened to great fanfare in 2003. Both are incredible challenges over some of the finest linksland in the world. |

Accommodations at The Lodge at Doonbeg Golf Club are extraordinary - more than "suites" in the traditional sense of the word. Rather than simply a room with a seating area, their suites are private residences, meant to be their guests' home away from home. As such, they are equipped with everything a discriminating traveler would require. The suites, which have been individually designed and decorated so that no two are alike, each consist of a living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and differing number of bedrooms. Perfect for groups of golfers.
North of Galway, in the Village of Cong, you'll find one of the "Leading Small Hotels of the World," Ashford Castle. This 13th-century castle sits quietly in its own 450 acres of grounds along the shores of Lough Corrib. It's an awe inspiring accommodation in an area of Ireland that is famous for its scenery and great outdoor activities such as fishing and horseback riding.
Set in the heart of Ballyliffen Village sits the deluxe Ballyliffen Lodge. The lodge offers an incredible panoramic view of Malin Head and the Inishowen coastline in addition to the world famous Ballyliffen Golf Club, Pollan Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Designed and built to four star standard, Ballyliffen Lodge with its fabulous spa and leisure facilities bring an unrivaled blend of attributes when visiting County Donegal.
Just north of Shannon is Dromoland Castle, one of the most famous baronial castles in Ireland. Priceless reminders of the Castle's past are everywhere -- in the splendid wood and stone carvings, magnificent paneling, original oil paintings, and romantic gardens and grounds. Guests can enjoy a wide range of activities on property including golf, tennis, fishing, shooting and boating. In addition, acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands are perfect for a bike ride, a run, or a morning stroll. Truly a luxury accommodation!
With the major restoration of the Moy House, Lahinch finally has a luxury accommodation to compliment the wonderful golf links. Originally built in the mid 18th Century, this nine-room country home is set on 15 private acres overlooking Lahinch Bay. There are few places we've found that offer the comfort and hospitality of Moy House. You?ll truly feel at home in chef Anna's kitchen.
This beautiful hotel opened in May 2000 and is situated on 200 acres in a spectacular setting just two miles from the center of Ennis.
