British Golf Museum
Situated opposite the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse, the museum has
audio-visual displays and touch-activated screens which bring the
game of golf to life. You can walk around the galleries, trace
the development of golf, listen to commentaries, and enjoy
biographies of the world's best players.
Glamis Castle
The child home of the Queen Mother and birth place of Princess
Margaret. The oldest part of the castle is Duncan's Hall -
legendary setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth. There are fine
collections of china, paintings, tapestry and furniture. The
castle is located abut 5 miles southwest of Forfar.
East Neuk Fishing Villages
All along the East Neuk of Fife (Anstruther, Cellardyke, &
Crail) are tranquil places just made for rest and relaxation.
St. Andrews University
Founded in 1411, St. Andrews University is the oldest university
in Scotland.
St. Andrews Woollen Mill
Located overlooking the 18th green of the Old Course at St.
Andrews. The Mill offers a fine selection of top quality knitwear
including pure new wool, lambs wool and cashmere.
Tom Morris' Golf Shop
Located next door to the Woolen Mill is the golf shop that Tom
Morris founded in the 1800s.
St. Andrews Cathedral & Castle
The Cathedral shows remains of what was once the biggest church
in Scotland. The ruined castle, overlooking the sea, was founded
in 1200 and rebuilt at several periods.
