Friday

Depart the States for South Africa.

Saturday

Arrive South Africa (O.R. Tambo International Airport at Johannesburg), where you'll be met by a Golfpac International representative. From the airport you will be transferred to the famous Sun City Resort (3 hour transfer).

After you have settled in at your hotel room, the rest of your evening is at leisure.

Deep in the rugged bushveld, in the heart of an ancient volcano, lies the world?s most unique resort, the internationally acclaimed Sun City Resort. The Cascades Hotel is reminiscent of a tropical paradise overlooking cascading waterfalls and a tropical forest.

Sunday

After an early breakfast you will tee off at the fabulous Lost City golf course.

Golfers are astounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Lost City golf course. The desert style design of the golf course has an exotic allure all of its own and designer Gary Player has acknowledged it as one of his favorite courses. The water hazard at the 13th hole is inhabited by 2 meter long crocodiles and you are discouraged to retrieve your lost ball.

After golf you can cool down at the pool, try your luck at the casino or challenge the valley of the waves. Your evening will be at leisure with a plethora of options.

Monday

After breakfast we play the awesome Gary Player Country Club. This walk only course (no carts allowed) will test your skill to the fullest.

The Gary Player Country Club at the famed Sun City Resort has been ranked as the top course in South Africa and is acknowledged as a difficult and demanding course. The course requires stamina and accuracy from players. The comparatively flat nature of the golf course is misleading - water hazards, cunningly sited bunkers and pins hidden away on kidney shaped greens makes up for the lack of gradient.

After golf and lunch you will be transferred to the Ivory Tree Game Lodge in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve for an unrivaled safari in the African bush (30 min. transfer). This evening prepare for your first game drive.

As night sets in, lanterns and candles are lit and the mood goes from bush to baroque. Guests return from their evening game drive to be presented with a bush extravaganza dinner, prepared by Ivory Tree's Executive Chef, in the boma with a blazing log fire to keep them warm.

Ivory Tree Game Lodge is situated in the north eastern region of the Pilanesberg National Park, nestled in the basin of an ancient amphitheatre divided by riverine woodlands and elephant trails. Pilanesberg is a 60,000 hectare malaria free national game reserve and offers guests an impressive Big 5 safari experience. Ivory Tree's game rangers are highly qualified and they have a skill for making guests feel passionate about the environment and wildlife while offering a unique opportunity for those willing to be educated on many aspects of wildlife and bush etiquette while in 4x4. The lodge has a total of 60 individual suites each with air conditioning for heating & cooling, en-suite bathrooms with additional outside shower, and covered patio.

Tuesday

Today is spent on a South African safari (both morning and evening drives).

As you return from your morning game drive a wonderful breakfast awaits. The remainder of the afternoon is spent at your leisure until you prepare for your evening game drive.

As guests return from their evening game drive, they will be presented with another wonderful dinner under African stars.

Wednesday

After an early morning game drive and a late breakfast we leave for the O.R. Tambo Airport in Johannesburg for our flight to George. Upon arrival, travel to Pinnacle Point in nearby Mossel Bay (30 minutes). Your evening will be at leisure.

Set on the edge of a magnificent coast, Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort is situated at the gateway to the Garden Route, taking pride of place amongst exclusive neighboring golf courses such as Oubaai, Pezula and Fancourt.

Uniquely defined by two intimate, secluded beaches along four kilometres of spectacular coastline, Pinnacle Point is located on four hundred hectares of prime land, of which one hundred hectares is nature reserve. The resort is home to indigenous wildlife, birdlife and 264 varieties of fynbos - a nature lover's delight!

All this is sensitively integrated with an eighteen-hole championship golf course, with dramatic cliffside holes designed by renowned golf architect Peter Matkovich.

You will stay at a 2 bedroom luxury self catering golf villa, fully furnished with top of the range finishes including granite kitchen tops, fireplaces for those chilly winter evenings and patio complete with braai area. All are serviced daily on request.

Thursday

Today we play the Pinnacle Point golf course. It is an immaculate eighteen-hole championship golf course, co-designed by renowned golf architect Peter Matkovich and professional golfer. Located near Mossel Bay in the Southern Cape along the Garden Route in South Africa, the Pinnacle Point Golf Course is comparable with the best in the world and truly is a design masterpiece.

At the opening in November 2006, Darren Clarke, who has affiliated himself to the Estate, described the completed layout as the "best golf course on the planet".

The golf course stretches along four kilometers of spectacular coastline and boasts dramatic cliff-side holes and over 1000 acres of unspoiled beachfront.

This evening we will sample one of the excellent garden route restaurants.

Friday

After breakfast we leave for nearby Oubaai Golf Course.

Oubaai is situated some 10kms from George Airport on the coastline of The Garden Route at Herolds Bay. Oubaai Golf Club is a Championship Golf Course designed by 3 times Major Championship Winner Ernie Els. Els himself has placed Oubaai as his favorite course in the world. The Golf Course is a Links layout where veld grasses line the lush fairways and greens. The elements, predominantly the wind, play a role in the defenses of the course; the course being a coastal golf course. However you will find generous fairways off the tees but in the spirit of the course these are well bunkered to penalize any stray or ill considered drives. The greens are in excellent condition and roll smooth and true. Oubaai is a course that will reward the well executed shot and penalize any wayward shots in the true time honored tradition of a championship golf course.

Rest of the day at leisure.

Saturday

We leave Pinnacle Point for George Airport to catch a flight to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg from where you will board your flight home.

Please note that the tour space is based upon availability at the time of booking. Additionally, we do reserve the right to change the routing, accommodation, vehicles or golf should any unforseen circumstances or changes in weather conditions arise. Any changes made will be of equal value.

RESERVATION PROCEDURES:

1. Simply call, write, or fax us with your inquiry.
2. 30% per person deposit required
3. Hotels, golf courses, and ground transportation confirmed. All courses and hotels based on availability at time of booking.
4. Full payment due 60 (sixty) days prior to arrival. Approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your departure you will receive all necessary travel documents.

METHOD OF PAYMENT:

U.S. currency in the form of agency checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellations after deposit/payment should be made in writing.

• Time of reservation to 60 days prior to departure: Full deposit forfeited.
• 59-31 days prior: 50% of total package price forfeited, plus any non-refundable fees.
• Thereafter: Full payment forfeited.

EXCHANGE RATES:

Tour prices are based on exchange rates effective at time quotation and are subject to change. It may be necessary to add a surcharge to the price of your vacation if fluctuations in the exchange rate deem it necessary. Once full payment has been received surcharges may not be levied.

REFUNDS:

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR UNUSED PORTIONS OF ANY TOUR.
