The Open Championship returns to St Andrews "The Home of Golf" in July 2010 which will mark the 150th anniversary of the Open Championship. Once again the worlds' greatest golfers will gather to do battle for the famous Claret Jug over the Old Course where Tiger Woods has been victorious on the last two occasions in 2000 and 2005.
For those interested in traveling to St. Andrews for the Open Championship, Golfpac International can create a number of customized packages for the event which will take place from July 12 - 18, 2010. The below tour consist of five nights at the world class Gleneagles, one round of golf on any of their three resort courses and daily round trip transfers to St. Andrews during the Open.
All of our packages also include official entry tickets to The Open. If you would like to play additional golf during your trip, there are many excellent courses nearby to choose from including Carnoustie, Kingsbarns, The Duke's Course, Scotscraig, Crail, Elie, Ladybank, The Torrance, The Kittock's to mention but a few. Pre and post Open excursions can be arranged as well.

Gleneagles Resort
Arrive Scotland (Glasgow or Edinburgh), where you'll be met by a Golfpac International representative who will help secure your rental car and answer any last minute questions. From the airport travel to Gleneagles (1 hour 30 minutes from Glasgow or 1 hour 15 minutes from Edinburgh) and your hotel for check-in.
This evening, you'll be met at the hotel by Golfpac's professional tour manager for a Scottish welcome and tour briefing.

St. Andrews — Old Course
Travel to St. Andrews (1 hour 15 minutes) and attend the opening round of the 2010 British Open.
Tiger Woods, who has been victorious the last two times the Old Course has hosted the championship (2000 & 2005), seeks to reclaim the Claret Jug from 2009 champion Stewart Cink on the legendary links. Or will 2009 runner-up Tom Watson try to turn back the clock once again and create additional magic over these hallowed grounds? One thing is for sure, it will be an exciting week of golf. Not only will St. Andrews be celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Open Championship, it will also mark the 28th time the Old Course at St. Andrews has hosted the event.

King's Course at Gleneagles is designed by the great James Braid in 1919, The King's is considered to be one of the best inland courses in Scotland. Although not long by American standards (6,471 yards, par 71), the hills and bunkers make shot selection very difficult.

SATURDAY, JULY 17
St. Andrews — Old Course
Return to St. Andrews today and attend the 3rd round of the British Open. Who will make a run at the leaderboard? Will there be another surprise name amongst the leaders like there has been the last 2 years? Will the ghost of Old Tom Morris be around? It will be an exciting day for sure!

SUNDAY, JULY 18
St. Andrews — Old Course, 18th Hole
Return back to St. Andrews today and attend the exciting final round of the British Open. The Sunday of the Open Championship is unlike any other, especially in St. Andrews. Hear the roar of the crowd, watch the players cross the Swilken Bridge and make their way up the 18th fairway with the Royal & Ancient Clubhouse as their back drop. The only thing left is to see who gets to hoist the Claret Jug. It just does not get any better then this!

MONDAY, JULY 19
Your wonderful trip has come to an end. Travel back to either Glasgow Airport or Edinburgh Airport for a return flight to the States.

When confirming a reservation the following information is needed:
- Full names of everyone in the party and a rooming list.
- A copy of each golfer's handicap card.
- Flight information (arrival & departure).
Reservation Procedures
- Simply call, write, or fax us with your inquiry.
- $1,800 per person deposit required.
- Hotels, golf courses, and ground transportation confirmed. All courses and hotels based on availability at time of booking.
- Full payment due 120 (one hundred twenty) days prior to arrival. Approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your departure you will receive all necessary travel documents.
Method of Payment
U.S. currency in the form of agency checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.
Cancellations
Cancellations after deposit/payment should be made in writing. Cancellation penalties:
- Date reservation made to 91 days prior to departure: Full deposit forfeited.
- 90 or fewer days prior to departure: Full payment forfeited.
Exchange Rates
Tour prices are based on exchange rates effective at time quotation and are subject to change. It may be necessary to add a surcharge to the price of your vacation if fluctuations in the exchange rate deem it necessary. Once full payment has been received surcharges may not be levied.
Refunds
