Depart the States for England.
Tuesday, July 15
Arrive England (Manchester Airport), where you’ll be met by a Golfpac International representative who will help secure your rental car and answer any last minute questions. From the airport, travel to Chester (1 hour 30 minutes) and the De Vere Carden Park Hotel for check-in.
This evening, you’ll be met at the hotel by Golfpac’s professional tour manager for a welcome tour briefing.

GOLF: ROYAL LIVERPOOL
Today’s round takes you to Royal Liverpool (6,840 yards, par 72), also known as Hoylake. Hoylake has hosted eleven Open Championships (the last in 2006). The 11 Opens produced ten different champions including John H. Taylor, Walter Hagen, Bobby Jones and Tiger Woods. Jones' 1930 victory was the second leg of his historic grand slam. Rather like Carnoustie in Scotland, the final four holes can be cruelly punishing. Ranked #82 in the world by Golf Magazine.

Travel to Royal Birkdale (1 hour) and attend the 2nd round of the OPEN Championship.
OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP AT ROYAL BIRKDALE
Located near Southport in Lancashire, Royal Birkdale has played host to The Open Championship on eight occassions since 1954. Peter Thomson won his first title here that same year and returned in 1965 to win his fifth and final championship. Arnold Palmer's win in 1961 renewned the importance of The Open on an international level. Since then, four more Americans -- Lee Trevino, Johnny Miller, Tom Watson, and Mark O'Meara -- have taken home the title at Birkdale. The only non-American to win here since Thomson is Ian Baker-Finch, who won in 1991. The course itself plays through hugh sand dunes and is generally regarded among the top links courses in the world. In 2007, it was ranked 30th on GOLF Magazine's "Top 100 Courses in the World."

Package Prices:
$3,895 per golfer, double occupancy.
$3,275 per non golfer, double occupancy
Prices based on 4 people sharing a Minivan with Automatic Transmission (Ford Galaxy or similar) for the entire stay.
Package Includes:
- 6 nights’ hotel accommodations and applicable hotel taxes.

Not Included:
- Caddies at the golf courses. Please inquire about requesting caddies in advance.
- Any items not specifically described in the itinerary including lunch and dinner daily.
- Items of a personal nature, such as laundry, phone calls, etc.
- Airfare.
- PAI (personal accident insurance) and gas on the rental car.
Necessary for Booking:
When confirming a reservation the following information is needed:
- Full names of everyone in the party & a rooming list.
- A copy of each golfer’s handicap card.
- Flight information (arrival & departure).
Reservation Procedures:
1. Simply call, write, or fax us with your inquiry.
2. 30% per person deposit required ($750 minimum for deposit).
3. Hotels, golf courses, and ground transportation confirmed. All courses and hotels based on availability at time of booking.
4. Full payment due 90 (sixty) days prior to arrival.
Approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your departure you will receive all necessary travel documents.
Method of Payment:
U.S. currency in the form of agency checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.
Cancellations:
Cancellations after deposit/payment should be made in writing. A $500 per person fee will be charged plus expenses incurred, such as non-refundable golf and hotel deposits. Additional cancellation penalties:
- 180-60 days prior to departure: Full deposit forfeited.
- 59-28 days prior: 50% of total package price forfeited, plus any non-refundable fees.
- Thereafter: Full payment forfeited.
Exchange Rates:
Tour prices are based on exchange rates effective at time quotation and are subject to change. It may be necessary to add a surcharge to the price of your vacation if fluctuations in the exchange rate deem it necessary. Once full payment has been received surcharges may not be levied.
Refunds:
Refunds will not be given for unused portions of any tour.
