Day Two through Day Five

KITTOCKS COURSE - FAIRMONT ST. ANDREWS

Kittocks Course

Bruce Devlin and the legendary Gene Sarazen teamed up to design one of Scotland's most interesting new courses. The second course at the Fairmont's beautiful resort, The Kittocks is an outstanding design with un-matched views of St. Andrews and the sea. There are some tremendous holes here and the cliff-side par-three 18th is one of Scotland's most exciting and unusual finishing holes.

KINGSBARNS

Kingsbarns Course

This relatively new course is already recognized as one of the most exciting links courses in the world. Built along a stretch of shoreline near St. Andrews, the layout has drawn great praise from golf critics everywhere. It has already donned the cover of Links Magazine and was rated by many Golfpac travelers as their favorite course in Scotland!

NEW COURSE

New Course at St. Andrews

Enjoy a round on the New Course at St. Andrews, which was designed by Old Tom Morris in 1894. At 6,604 yards, many locals consider this par-71 layout as tough a test as the Old Course itself. The best holes are at the turn, meandering through some of St. Andrews' largest dunes.

Please note: To play the Old Course, you also have to play one of the other courses in St. Andrews.

OLD COURSE

Old Course at St. Andrews

Golf will be on hallowed ground when you play the Old Course at St. Andrews. The Old Course was site of the 2005 Open, which saw Tiger Woods capture his second Open Championship on the Old Course. It was the 27th time that St. Andrews has hosted the Open. Walking up the 18th fairway toward the "Valley of Sin" and the Royal & Ancient Clubhouse is a thrill that every avid golfer should experience.

Please note: Tee times on the Old Course can be difficult to arrange in advance; please see itinerary notes. Also, the Old Course has handicap restrictions of 24 or lower for men and 36 or lower for women.

Day Six

Your wonderful trip has come to an end. Travel back to the airport for a return flight to the States or extend your trip to include more great golf around Scotland or the U.K.

Tour Information

Not Included

  • Caddies at the golf courses. Please inquire about requesting caddies in advance.
  • Any items not specifically described in the itinerary including lunch and dinner daily.
  • PAI (personal accident insurance) and gas on the rental car.
  • Items of a personal nature, such as laundry, phone calls, etc.
  • Airfare.

Tee Times At St. Andrews:

Consult with a Golfpac representative about available Old Course tee times. Unless a tee time has been reserved and announced in advance, tee times at St. Andrews are arranged through ?the ballot' on the day before play. At that time, a representative will advise you of the status of your tee time. At Golfpac, we realize how important playing golf at St. Andrews is to most groups. Over the past few years, tee times have become harder to guarantee on the Old Course, but we feel our success rate is second to none.

Important Note: Certain tee times for St. Andrews carry a £ 70 (British Pounds) supplement which would be added to the final invoice. This fee is reimbursed in the form of a voucher, which is good for merchandise and food in the St. Andrews Links Clubhouse.
