KITTOCKS COURSE - FAIRMONT ST. ANDREWSBruce Devlin and the legendary Gene Sarazen teamed up to design one of Scotlands most interesting new courses. The second course at the Fairmont's beautiful resort, The Kittocks is an outstanding design with un-matched views of St. Andrews and the sea. There are some tremendous holes here and the cliff-side par-three 18th is one of Scotlands most exciting and unusual finishing holes. KINGSBARNSThis relatively new course is already recognized as one of the most exciting links courses in the world. Built along a stretch of shoreline near St. Andrews, the layout has drawn great praise from golf critics everywhere. It has already donned the cover of Links Magazine and was rated by many Golfpac travelers as their favorite course in Scotland! ST. ANDREWS - NEW COURSEEnjoy a round on the New Course at St. Andrews, which was designed by Old Tom Morris in 1894. At 6,604 yards, many locals consider this par-71 layout as tough a test as the Old Course itself. The best holes are at the turn, meandering through some of St. Andrews' largest dunes. The Old Course was site of the 2005 Open, which saw Tiger Woods capture his second Open Championship on the Old Course. It was the 27th time that St. Andrews has hosted the Open. Walking up the 18th fairway toward the "Valley of Sin" and the Royal & Ancient Clubhouse is a thrill that every avid golfer should experience. Day SixYour wonderful trip has come to an end. Tee Times At St. Andrews:Consult with a Golfpac representative about available Old Course tee times. Unless a tee time has been reserved and announced in advance, tee times at St. Andrews are arranged through the ballot on the day before play. At that time, a representative will advise you of the status of your tee time. At Golfpac, we realize how important playing golf at St. Andrews is to most groups. Over the past few years, tee times have become harder to guarantee on the Old Course, but we feel our success rate is second to none. Important Note: Certain tee times for St. Andrews carry a £ 70 (British Pounds) supplement which would be added to the final invoice. This fee is reimbursed in the form of a voucher, which is good for merchandise and food in the St. Andrews Links Clubhouse. Cancellations:Cancellations after deposit/payment should be made in writing. A $500 per person fee will be charged plus expenses incurred, such as non-refundable golf and hotel deposits. Exchange Rates:Tour prices are based on exchange rates effective at time quotation and are subject to change. It may be necessary to add a surcharge to the price of your vacation if fluctuations in the exchange rate deem it necessary. Once full payment has been received surcharges may not be levied.
