Golfers are astounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Lost City golf course. The dessert style design of the golf course has an exotic allure all of its own and designer Gary Player has acknowledged it as one of his favourite courses. The water hazard at the 13th hole is inhabited by 2 meter long crocodiles and you are discouraged to retrieve your lost ball. After golf you can cool down at the pool, try your luck at the casino or challenge the valley of the waves. Your evening will be at leisure with a plethora of options. Accommodation: Cascades Hotel, Sun City Resort (Standard Room) MondayAfter breakfast we play the awesome Gary Player Country Club. This walk only course (no carts allowed) will test your skill to the fullest. The Gary Player Country Club at the famed Sun City Resort has been ranked as the top course in South Africa and is acknowledged as a difficult and demanding course. The course requires stamina and accuracy from players. The comparatively flat nature of the golf course is misleading - water hazards, cunningly sited bunkers and pins hidden away on kidney shaped greens makes up for the lack of gradient. After golf and lunch you will be transferred to the Tuningi Safari Lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve for an unrivaled safari in the African bush (2 hour transfer). This evening prepare for your first game drive. As night sets in, lanterns and candles are lit and the mood goes from bush to baroque. The Links is without doubt the most impressive piece of golf design and construction ever in South Africa. When playing The Links, it is difficult to believe that one is not in Scotland or Ireland, until, that is, one notices the imposing Outeniqua mountain range that rises impressively in the background. The Links was the host venue for the 2003 Presidents Cup and 2005 Womens World Cup of Golf. This evening you will be at leisure to explore the award winning resort and dine at any of the four restaurants in the resort. The Montagu is a much celebrated parkland course and has been ranked as the number-one golf course in South Africa in the past. The new-look course, which has now grown in superbly, has been restored to its former glory where it will once again hold its head high amongst the best in the world. Evening at leisure. Voted the number two golf course in South Africa (Compleat Golfer) and the top golf course in the Western Cape, the Arabella Golf Club home to the Nelson Mandela Invitational stretches through rolling fairways, deceptive bunkers and challenging water traps. A truly unique golf course set on the banks of the Bot River lagoon and fringed by indigenous fynbos.
