Itinerary

FRIDAY

Depart the States for Ireland, “The Emerald Isle.”

SATURDAY

Arrive Ireland (Shannon), where you’ll be met by a Golfpac International representative who will help secure your rental car and answer any last minute questions. From the airport travel (2 hours 15 minutes) to County Kerry and the town of Killarney where you will check-in to your first hotel. The rest of your day is free to unwind at the hotel after your long flight.

ACCOMMODATION:

Opened in 1992, the Killarney Park Hotel has earned a reputation as one of the area’s finest accommodations over the years. In fact, the Park is rated five stars by the Irish Tourist Board and is one of the country’s finest hotels. The hotel features 66 rooms, elegant decor, spacious lounges, open fires, and an excellent Spa facility. Most importantly, its location in the town of Killarney makes it an ideal host for touring Southwest Ireland.

SUNDAY

Travel to Waterville (1 hour 30 minutes).

WATERVILLE GOLF LINKS

Waterville (7,234 yards, par 74) has been dubbed the “magnificent monster.” It lives up to its nickname over rolling dunes and treacherous rough. The course is located on the shore of Ballinskelligs Bay with holes running alongside the ocean. Tom Fazio was brought in to update the original Eddie Hackett masterpiece with major renovations and improvements made to the course. “Everything about Waterville is truly spectacular,” said Fazio. “The setting is one of the best I have seen for golf.” The drive to get here, along the ring of Kerry, offers some of the most exciting scenery in all of Europe.

Travel to Tralee (45 minutes).

TRALEE GOLF CLUB

Test your game with a round at Tralee Golf Club (6,961 yards, par 71), a links course designed by Ed Seay and Arnold Palmer — their first course in Europe. Fairly new by Irish standards, Tralee opened in 1984 and was immediately recognized as one of the most breathtaking in the world. The holes are situated along a beautiful stretch of County Kerry’s west coast with amazing views of cliffs and the beach.

TUESDAY

Depart Killarney today and travel northeast (1 hour 30 minutes) to County Limerick and the village of Adare where you will check into the incredible Adare Manor.

GOLF:

ADARE GOLF CLUB at ADARE MANOR HOTEL

This parkland course opened in June 1995 and, at 7,138 yards, is one of Ireland’s longest courses. The par-72 layout was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and occupies 230 acres of lush countryside. The Maigue River meanders through the back nine and creates quite a hazard on three holes. Along the way you’ll encounter rock-walled streams, undulating greens, a 14-acre lake, and excellent course conditions.

ADARE MANOR, COUNTY LIMERICK (Deluxe Room)

This fabulous five-star resort property is located in County Limerick, south of Shannon. Formerly the home of the Earl of Dunraven, the Adare Manor dates back to 1720, and was rebuilt in the Tudor Revival style between 1832 and 1860. Set on an 840-acre estate overlooking the River Maigue, Adare Manor is truly one of Ireland’s finest accommodations. The property also features a championship caliber golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

WEDNESDAY

Travel to Ballybunion (1 hour 15 minutes).

BALLYBUNION - OLD COURSE

Located in the northwest corner of County Kerry is Ireland’s most popular course. Perhaps the finest seaside course in Ireland, if not the world, Ballybunion Old is a virtually treeless links. The course travels up, down, over, and around majestic dunes and demands long and accurate shots to closely trapped greens. Tom Watson and other well-known professionals make annual trips to Ballybunion to tune up their game for the British Open. The Old Course is a must for all golfers visiting Ireland!

Please note: Due to ever increasing demand, Ballybunion now requires all gentlemen golfers to have a valid handicap of 24 or lower and all women to have a valid handicap of 36 or lower. In addition, please be aware that tee times for the Old Course are very limited.

THURSDAY

Depart Adare and travel (1 hour) northwest to County Clare and the world famous Dromoland Castle, your destination for your final two nights. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Just north of Shannon is Dromoland Castle, one of the most famous baronial castles in Ireland. Priceless reminders of the Castle’s past are everywhere — in the splendid wood and stone carvings, magnificent paneling, original oil paintings, and romantic gardens and grounds. Guests can enjoy a wide range of activities on property including golf, tennis, fishing, shooting and boating. In addition, acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands are perfect for a bike ride, a run, or a morning stroll. Truly a luxury accommodation!

FRIDAY

Travel to Lahinch (1 hour 15 minutes).

GOLF:

LAHINCH GOLF CLUB

Billed as the “St. Andrews of Ireland,” this par-72, 6,702-yard course is the oldest and most natural links course in Ireland. Lahinch was originally laid out by Old Tom Morris in 1893 and redesigned three decades later by Dr. Alister MacKenzie. The course calls for various blind shots and can be extremely challenging. Please note: Lahinch requires all gentlemen golfers to have a valid handicap of 24 or lower and all women to have a valid handicap of 32 or lower.

SATURDAY

Your wonderful trip has come to an end. Travel back to Shannon Airport (15 minutes) for a return flight to the States.

When confirming a reservation the following information is needed:

• Full names of everyone in the party & a rooming list.
• Each golfer's handicap and home golf club name.
• Flight information (arrival & departure).

Reservation Procedures

1. Simply call, write, or fax us with your inquiry.
2. $1250 per person deposit required.
3. Hotels, golf courses, and ground transportation confirmed. All courses and hotels based on availability at time of booking.
4. Full payment due 60 (sixty) days prior to arrival. Approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your departure you will receive all necessary travel documents.

Method of Payment

U.S. currency in the form of agency checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

Cancellations

Cancellations after deposit/payment should be made in writing. Cancellation penalties:

• Time reservation is made - 60 days prior to departure: Full deposit forfeited.
• 59-28 days prior: 50% of total package price forfeited, plus any non-refundable fees.
• Thereafter: Full payment forfeited.

Exchange Rates

Tour prices are based on exchange rates effective at time quotation and are subject to change. It may be necessary to add a surcharge to the price of your vacation if fluctuations in the exchange rate deem it necessary. Once full payment has been received surcharges may not be levied.

Refunds

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR UNUSED PORTIONS OF ANY TOUR.
