After an early breakfast you will tee off at the fabulous Lost City golf course.
Golfers are astounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Lost City golf course. The desert style design of the golf course has an exotic allure all of its own and designer Gary Player has acknowledged it as one of his favorite courses. The water hazard at the 13th hole is inhabited by 2 meter long crocodiles and you are discouraged to retrieve your lost ball.
After golf you can cool down at the pool, try your luck at the casino or challenge the valley of the waves. Your evening will be at leisure with a plethora of options.
ACCOMMODATION:
Cascades Hotel, Sun City Resort (Standard Room)
Monday

Gary Player Country Club
After breakfast we play the awesome Gary Player Country Club. This walk only course (no carts allowed) will test your skill to the fullest.
The Gary Player Country Club at the famed Sun City Resort has been ranked as the top course in South Africa and is acknowledged as a difficult and demanding course. The course requires stamina and accuracy from players. The comparatively flat nature of the golf course is misleading - water hazards, cunningly sited bunkers and pins hidden away on kidney shaped greens makes up for the lack of gradient.
After golf and lunch you will be transferred to the Ivory Tree Game Lodge in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve for an unrivaled safari in the African bush (30 min. transfer). This evening prepare for your first game drive.
As night sets in, lanterns and candles are lit and the mood goes from bush to baroque. Guests return from their evening game drive to be presented with a bush extravaganza dinner, prepared by Ivory Tree's Executive Chef, in the boma with a blazing log fire to keep them warm.
ACCOMMODATION:

Ivory Tree Game Lodge
Ivory Tree Game Lodge, Pilanesberg Game Reserve (Private Suite)

Pilanesberg is a 60,000 hectare malaria free national game reserve and offers guests an impressive Big 5 safari experience. Ivory Tree?s game rangers are highly qualified and they have a skill for making guests feel passionate about the environment and wildlife while offering a unique opportunity for those willing to be educated on many aspects of wildlife and bush etiquette while in 4x4. The lodge has a total of 60 individual suites each with air conditioning for heating & cooling, en-suite bathrooms with additional outside shower, and covered patio.

Pearl Valley Golf Course
After breakfast we leave for the Cape Winelands (30 minutes) where we will play the Jack Nicklaus designed Pearl Valley golf course. Pearl Valley golf course is situated in the famed Franchhoek valley and is the second Jack Nicklaus course in South Africa. The golf course lies within a ring of mountains formed by the Drakenstein and Simonsberg. Pearl Valley has become one of the major jewels in the Western Cape's already gem encrusted golf course crown.
After golf, we visit Franschhoek - the culinary capital of the Cape. We visit a working wine farm to taste some of the best wines the Cape has to offer before returning to our hotel.
This evening you can explore the V&A Waterfront and dine at one of the many top restaurants on offer.

Friday

Arabella Golf Course
Today we play the Arabella golf course near Hermanus (35 minute travel time). We will travel through the Overberg Mountain range, over Sir Lowry's pass and through the fruit producing region of Grabouw, before arriving at Arabella to play one of the top 10 courses in South Africa. Voted the number five golf course in South Africa (Golf Digest) and the top golf course in the Western Cape, the Arabella Golf Club stretches through rolling fairways, deceptive bunkers and challenging water traps. A truly unique golf course set on the banks of the Bot River lagoon and fringed by indigenous fynbos. There is no doubt that a round of golf here ranks with the best experiences anywhere in the world.
Our return journey to Cape Town takes us along the False Bay coastal road for a totally different view. Evening at leisure.
