Scotland is certainly not short on contenders for making a top ten of the world's most recognisable courses. Itinerary

SATURDAY

Depart the States for Scotland, “The Home of Golf.”

SUNDAY

Arrive Scotland (Glasgow or Edinburgh), where you’ll be met by a Golfpac International representative who will help secure your rental car and answer any last minute questions. From the airport travel to St. Andrews (2 hours 15 minutes from Glasgow or 1 hour 15 minutes from Edinburgh) and your first hotel for check-in. This evening, you’ll be met at the hotel by Golfpac’s professional tour manager for a Scottish welcome and tour briefing.

Commanding one of the greatest locations in golf, adjacent to the 18th hole of the Old Course and the Royal & Ancient Clubhouse, Rusacks is one of our most popular accommodations. Always superbly maintained, the four-star hotel has a traditional Scottish flair with outstanding amenities and public rooms. The hotel originally opened for business in 1887 and continues to impress visitors with its terrific hotel staff, outstanding restaurant, and a lively bar.

MONDAY

Travel south along the Fife coastline to Crail (20 minutes).

GOLF:

CRAIL GOLFING SOCIETY - BALCOMIE COURSE

The Crail Golfing Society has been playing golf over the links at Balcomie since the late 1700s. Balcomie — the original 18 at Crail — is often recognized for the standard of its greens. Although not long by today’s standards, the links can be a difficult test when the wind blows off the North Sea. It’s truly a joy to play. Crail is located 10 miles southeast of St. Andrews along the southern Fife coastline.

TUESDAY

Travel south to Lundin Links (20 minutes).

GOLF:

LUNDIN LINKS

Lundin Links remains one of the local Scots’ most interesting and popular seaside courses. Although the club itself was founded in 1868, the course dates back to 1909 when famous local native James Braid was brought in to design a new 18. The layout has a number of seaside holes along with a number of inland holes that create a great contrast in style. The seaside holes are often paired with the seaside holes from the neighboring links at Leven to create a true 18-hole links course for local tournaments. In fact, the so-called Old Course is often used as a qualifying course when the Open Championship is held at St. Andrews.

WEDNESDAY

Travel south to Leven (20 minutes).

GOLF:

LEVEN LINKS

Today’s round will be scheduled for Leven Links. Leven is a classic links course of undulating fairways with hills and hollows and a burn running throughout it. The 18th hole is one of Scotland’s great finishing holes with a burn guarding the green. This is a qualifying course for the Open Championship.

Following golf continue south east to North Berwick (1 hour 45 minutes).

This Victorian turreted mansion overlooks the 16th green of the West Links at North Berwick. Seaview rooms offer compelling views of Bass Rock and its colony of gannets; Firdra Island, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island; and the North Sea. The facilities include first class accommodations, a wonderful luxury spa, terrific dining and award-winning gardens in the sunniest and driest corner of Scotland. The Marine is a great location for golfers looking to play East Lothian’s best courses.

THURSDAY

Travel south east to Dunbar (20 minutes).

GOLF:

DUNBAR

Southeast of Gullane and North Berwick you’ll find a great Scottish links called Dunbar (6426 yards, par 71). Laid out on a narrow strip of land bordering the North Sea this typical links offers nine holes out and nine holes back in. A stone wall runs along the entire course, and you play over and around the wall on a few different holes.

FRIDAY

GOLF:

WEST LINKS AT NORTH BERWICK

The West Links at North Berwick may not be a true hidden gem, but with this top ranked course located just outside of your hotel, it just might be too hard to pass up.

Today, you will test your shot-making skills on the West Links at North Berwick (6,315 yards, par 71), a “natural links” with nine holes out and nine holes back in. The course offers some spectacular views toward Bass Rock and the North Sea. Two of the holes, the 14th (“Perfection”) and the 15th (“Redan”), have been imitated all over the world. North Berwick has long been a Golfpac favorite!

SATURDAY

Your wonderful trip has come to an end. Travel back to Edinburgh Airport (45 minutes) or Glasgow Airport (2 hours) for a return flight to the States.

Necessary for Booking

When confirming a reservation the following information is needed:

• Full names of everyone in the party and a rooming list.
• A copy of each golfer's handicap card.
• Flight information (arrival & departure).

Reservation Procedures

1. Simply call, write, or fax us with your inquiry.
2. $1000 per person deposit required.
3. Hotels, golf courses, and ground transportation confirmed. All courses and hotels based on availability at time of booking.
4. Full payment due 60 (sixty) days prior to arrival. Approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your departure you will receive all necessary travel documents.

Method of Payment

U.S. currency in the form of agency checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

Cancellations

Cancellations after deposit/payment should be made in writing. Cancellation penalties:

• Time reservation is made - 60 days prior to departure: Full deposit forfeited.
• 59-28 days prior: 50% of total package price forfeited, plus any non-refundable fees.
• Thereafter: Full payment forfeited.

Exchange Rates

Tour prices are based on exchange rates effective at time quotation and are subject to change. It may be necessary to add a surcharge to the price of your vacation if fluctuations in the exchange rate deem it necessary. Once full payment has been received surcharges may not be levied.

Refunds

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR UNUSED PORTIONS OF ANY TOUR.
